思い出話投下
以前アメリカで働いていたときのこと。

隣の席のウクライナ人が「消しゴム貸して」と言ってきた。
日本から持ってきていた「MONO消し」を、はいよ、と渡した。

ら、本当に２秒後くらいに「ひぃっ」と悲鳴が。
「めちゃめちゃ消える！！」と大興奮。

「これ、使いかけでいいから売ってくれ」と言う。
偶然もう一個新品があったので「んじゃこれあげるよ」と言うと
「いや、それは申し訳ない、買う」と言う。
じゃぁと７５セントで売ると大喜びで友達に自慢しに行った。

えらいぞ、トンボ。
日本製品は消しゴムに限らず蛍光ペンも大人気だった。

アメリカの中学で一度uni鉛筆貸したらその子が毎回貸せと言ってくるようになった。海外にいくとほんとに日本の文房具のクオリティの高さに気づく。
